Lab67, the design‑and‑manufacturing firm behind the revolutionary RotaCart material‑handling product, has announced a new exclusive distribution agreement for North America with Orbis Corporation. Under the deal, Orbis will be the sole authorized distributor of Lab67’s RotaCart in the United States, Canada and Mexico, enabling customers to purchase the innovative carts through one of the packaging industry’s most trusted networks.

A meeting of industry leaders

Orbis Corporation is a Menasha Corporation subsidiary with a lineage stretching back to 1849, when Menasha began supplying wood products in Wisconsin. Today Orbis focuses on reusable plastic totes, pallets and dunnage that help companies move goods safer and more cost‑effectively, holds ISO certification since 1999, and invests in communities through philanthropy and volunteering. With manufacturing and distribution sites throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, Orbis serves Fortune 500 customers in automotive, food, beverage and retail.

Lab67 is a product‑development and strategic‑sourcing firm known for turning bold ideas into scalable products. From its facilities in Vietnam, the USA and across Asia, Lab67 designs, engineers and manufactures bespoke solutions for material handling, consumer goods and other sectors. Its vertically integrated model means that Lab67 controls every stage—from industrial design and prototyping through mass production and supply chain management. The company has a global team with decades of industry experience; its projects include RotaCart, RollaWheel and other logistics platforms.

Why RotaCart matters

RotaCart is the world’s first omni‑directional material‑handling cart designed to reduce unloading times and save space in distribution centers and retail backrooms. Each cart supports up to 1,000 pounds, fits standard shipping trucks, and nests vertically to achieve a 5‑to‑1 space‑saving ratio. When deployed at scale for large retailers, RotaCart has been shown to cut unloading time from hours to minutes and reduce labour requirements by as much as 90 percent. The system also reduces product damage during transport and improves workflow in crowded aisles.

What the partnership means

By signing a distribution agreement with Orbis, Lab67 will leverage Orbis’s established sales network and warehouse infrastructure to bring RotaCart directly to customers across North America. For customers, it means they can obtain RotaCarts through their existing Orbis representatives, benefiting from Orbis’s decades‑long expertise in reusable packaging and its reputation for responsive customer service.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Orbis, which has such a storied history in material handling,” said a Lab67 spokesperson. " Orbis is the partner we were looking for; from its long history as one of the most trusted names in reusable plastic pallets, totes and dunnage, to the incredible culture and people at Orbis. We were also impressed by Its philanthropic arm, the Menasha Corporation Foundation, which supports community projects and encourages employees volunteering in their communities".

Custom solutions and future growth

As supply chains across North America seek to improve efficiency and reduce costs, the combination of Lab67’s innovation and Orbis’s distribution strength creates a powerful option for companies moving goods from distribution centers to store shelves. Customers will now be able to obtain RotaCarts seamlessly—with technical support and service from two established industry leaders.
